Heavy security and drones deployed, internet snapped, schools shut, in Nuh as VHP insists on Shobha Yatra

There is tension building up once again in Nuh of Haryana amid heavy security deployment to prevent the Shobha Yatra announced by Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Meanwhile, outsiders have been barred and Sec 144 imposed with internet snapped as Haryana Police tightens security in Nuh for Shobha Yatra.

While the VHP has announced that Shobha Yatra will be taken out from Nuh’s Nalhar Mahadev Mandir to move to Ferozepur Jhirk’a Jhir Mandir and then conclude around 4 pm at Singar Mandir in Punhana. The local administration has deployed anti riot vehicles and drones as part of its preparations.

Seer Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya Maharaj from Ayodhya stopped at the Sohna toll plaza by the administration. “I have come here from Ayodhya…The administration has stopped us here, they are not allowing us to move ahead nor they are allowing us to go back. So I am doing fast until death. If they (the administration) will shift me somewhere else, I will do fast until death there also,” says Seer Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya Maharaj.

Communal clashes had erupted in Nuh and surrounding areas after a mob attacked VHP procession on July 31. Six people died back then including two Home Guards and a cleric.
