Swami Chakrapani, a well known saintly figure and national President of Sant Mahasabha, has demanded that moon be declared a Hindu Rashtra and that the Indian Parliament needs to pass a resolution to this effect. He suggested that ShivShakti point, the spot where Vikram lander touched down on moon, be declared capital of Hindu Rashtra.
He argued that this after Indian space agency successfully soft landed its Vikram lander and is now deploying rover to carry out experiments. India is now the first country to reach lunar south pole.
Swami Chakrapani said that now that moon has been reached, it is only logical that Indian Parliament passes a resolution declaring moon to be a Hindu Rashtra as the celestial body has been mentioned in oldest scriptures of the Hindu faith.
