There is civil unrest kind of situation and could go completely out of hands, tweeted Amit Malviya of BJP as he shared the video of Siddaramaiah, now Chief Minister of Karnataka, promising freebies during election campaigning.
Congress had given 5 Guarantees in Karnataka and promised blanket implementation, without any conditions, Amit Malviya recalled and pointed out that now ‘People are now refusing to pay electricity bills, women are demanding free bus rides, the unemployed are seeking allowance…’.
Congress, Malviya demanded, should without further delay, need to deliver on its promises, to ensure there are no untoward incidents in the State.
It need be mentioned that many political analysts are now pointing out that Congress in its desperation to come to power promised freebies that many feel are not sustainable financially.
