Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar belongs to JDU and the party chief Lalan Singh shocked one and all when he said that new Parliament building inauguration is akin to attempt to change history and they cant be part of it.
Lalan Singh further made a shocking remark that should they come to power in central government, the new Parliament building will be used for some other purpose.
He could not clarify what purpose he had in mind. JDU is among the 19 political parties including Congress which objected to inauguration of the new Parliament building at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and not the President of India, Draupadi Murmu.
But many other prominent political parties including Naveen Patnaik’s BJD or Andhra Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan’s party or even Akali Dal will attend the inaugural event.
