200 units of free electricity, promises Tejashwi Yadav if RJD forms state govt
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav made a significant statement, promising to provide 200 units of free electricity if his party forms the government in Bihar. He criticized the current BJP/NDA government, stating that despite decades of rule, Bihar still faces the highest electricity rates in the country. During his Jan Vishwas Yatra, Yadav emphasized that the people of Bihar are burdened by expensive electricity bills and issues with faulty smart meters.
Additionally, Tejashwi Yadav targeted the BJP, labeling it a party of rumors. He accused them of misleading the public with false promises for political gain. He reaffirmed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's commitment to conducting a caste-based census, preserving reservations, and upholding the Constitution. Yadav argued that those opposing the caste census and reservations are clearly against the Constitution, referencing issues like lateral entry and the creamy layer debate as attempts to undermine constitutional rights.
When asked about the allegations against former DGP S.P. Singhal in a recruitment paper scandal, Tejashwi responded that the investigation is ongoing and the court will address the matter.
