1971 India-Pakistan War Hero Wing Commander MB Ojha Passes Away, CM Vishnu Deo Sai expresses grief
Wing Commander MB Ojha (Retired), a brave warrior of the 1971 India-Pakistan War, passed away at the age of 89 in Raipur on Sunday. His final rites will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Mahadev Cremation Ground. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed deep sorrow over his passing.
A Distinguished Career in the Indian Air Force
Wing Commander Ojha was commissioned into the Indian Air Force in 1956 and participated in the 1962, 1965, and 1971 wars. He also contributed to various Indian peacekeeping missions. Notably, he was a witness to the historic moment when 90,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered to General Jagjit Singh Arora, marking a defining chapter in India's military history.
